Luxor attracted $16M for AI and mining services

Luxor Technology, a service provider for Bitcoin miners, has announced the completion of a funding round totaling $16 million. The investment was led by CMT Digital, with participation from ASIC hardware manufacturers Canaan and MicroBT. Luxor plans to allocate the raised capital towards the development of its cloud platform, as well as its brokerage business focused on the sale of AI equipment. Additionally, a portion of the funds will be used to advance the trading of derivatives related to computing power.
Part of the amount raised in the round was used for share buybacks from previous owners, though the exact volume of this transaction has not been disclosed. Luxor is already actively operating in the market, offering clients over-the-counter options and forward contracts on GPU rental cost indices. These financial instruments allow users to hedge their expenses and potential revenue, which is particularly relevant in volatile market conditions.
The development of new directions, including AI solutions, underscores Luxor's ambition to expand its service offerings beyond traditional mining. This could foster wider adoption of advanced technologies within the industry. For those interested in opportunities in the crypto market, such investments may signal growth potential in related sectors that influence the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In the context of developing such services, a reliable crypto exchange, such as Ruber Exchange, can become an important tool for cryptocurrency operations.
