How to Check an Exchange Service in Official Registries
Before sending money, make sure a real company stands behind the service. It takes 5 minutes: ask for the name and number, find them in an official registry and check the status.
Below is what to ask, where to look and how to check us.
What to ask the service
- the company’s full name;
- the country of registration;
- the registration or tax number.
A bona fide service publishes these details on its site or gives them on the first request. If they refuse, that is a reason to stop.

In the registry, check three things: the number matches what you were told; the name matches; the status is an active company, not liquidated or suspended.

How to find the company in the registry: four steps
- Open Georgia’s registry of entrepreneurs — enreg.reestri.gov.ge.
- In the search form, enter the identification code 447016069.
- You will find “შპს რუბერი” — Ruberi LLC in Georgian.
- Check the status: “აქტიური” means the company is active.
How to check your deal
The registry confirms the company; documents and the network itself confirm the deal. After an exchange you keep an order with its number, rate and amount, and a crypto transfer has a transaction ID. Paste it into a blockchain explorer, such as tronscan.org for TRC-20, and check the amount, address and status. Details in “How to check us and your own deal”.

What if the company is not in the registry?
Do not send money. Ask the service for the number and country. If the details cannot be found or do not match, look for another service.
The registry is in Georgian. How do I read the result?
“შპს” means LLC, “აქტიური” means active. The number in the first column must match the one you searched for.
Is a registry check enough?
No. The registry shows the company exists. For the rest — whom you pay, whether the amount is shown before payment, whether there is an identity check — use the checklist in how to check an exchanger before trading.
