Paying a supplier invoice, step by step

The route laid out from the order to the payment confirmation.

Here is the mechanism — what happens at each step and what the client sees.

Eight steps

  1. The client sends the invoice. The supplier invoice with the details, the amount and the payment purpose. Nothing is paid at this stage.
  2. The route is checked. We look at the parties, the country, the currency and the path the payment takes.
  3. The terms are quoted and fixed. The fee, the timing and the settlement order — before any money changes hands.
  4. The identity check. Once: a document, proof of address, a selfie. For a large amount — documents on where the money comes from.
  5. Rubles are exchanged for USDT. The client enters the amount in the calculator, sees the rate and the fee and pays in rubles by card or instant payment. The coins arrive in their own wallet.
  6. The USDT is handed over to the address from the order. Before that the address is checked so the coins do not get stuck further down the chain.
  7. The payment goes to the supplier by the details from the invoice.
  8. The client receives the confirmation of the payment and the documents for the deal.
Why the exchange is a separate step. The crypto arrives in your wallet, not in our account: between the two steps you remain the holder of your own funds. That is the difference from a transfer, where the money leaves for someone else’s perimeter and comes back only if the bank decides so.
